Community Outreach

Through working in close partnership with the community and the department of child protection, we are able to receive information on cases of child abandonment and neglect and with extensive networking with the local authority we manage to provide appropriate intervention to such cases while emphasizing the importance of children living within their family units. We also offer support services to walk in clients who are faced with diverse life predicaments such as tabooed children, unemployment, terminal illness and broken marriages. Some of these cases we are able to assist through providing food baskets and situation management alternatives such as referrals, counselling and temporary shelter, education and maintenance support.
